As everyone here at least has a passing interest in ghosts/the paranormal, What's your favourite ghost/horror film? I would say that my favourite "Ghost" films are: 1. Polterguist 2. Ghostbusters 3. The Others My Favourite Horror films on the other hand are 1. Evil Dead 2 (Especially the laughing moose head scene) 2. The Original House on Haunted Hill (Vincent Price et al) 3. Blair Wich I like others, but for now I think these are in the right order.. I could be wrong though

I hate horror movies and the paranormal leaves me cold (ho ho). Bizarrely (maybe) I'm a real anti-horror person - can't stand Resi Evil/Silent Hill et al, nor horror/psychological movies. So there ;D

mmm MIB no scary movies what on earth made you play G/M? he he never mind each to their own ! I love polterguist, sixth sense and the others as far scary goes (mind you the bits in S/S and polterguist really freak me out when then turn around and things are in the wrong place like all the drawers and cupboards open in S/S) I love oldies like Amityville horror (bit cheezy but cant be that bad as they made a level on here !) Christine ,The fog, Carrie, blair witch I also liked bones with snoop.

My favourite ghost films? Hmmmm... 1.Poltergiest 2.The Haunting(Tv film not the abysmal modern remake of the old 60's cinema film). The Tv film revolved around a family haunted by a Demon and 3 ghosts it was using! It was supposed to be based on a true experience/Family. The part where the Father was raped by the old hag-ghost was pretty disturbing! (Bet they dont put THAT in the next Ghost Master!)

OOPS!! Nearly forgot! My favourite Horror films...
1. Nightmare on Elm Street. (Im talking about the first one!) It really tapped into people deepest fear. Everyone has had nightmares, the ones where you can't seem to make yourself wake up from, and when you do you lay in bed wondering if you have REALLY woken up or are still dreaming and wonder if the killer/monster is going to jump up onto the bed!! The film really conveyed the fear of bieng trapped in a nightmare! 2. Evil Dead (Again the first one)

I agree! I have the entire Region 1 box set of Nightmare on Elm Street... the best of the series are 1, Final Nightmare and 3 in that order - the others are pretty much standard horror chow.
The idea of 1 was great, and in a way wasn't really a standard slasher flick.. who was the greatest monster in the film? Freddy, who was basically the product of a lynch mob? or was it the father/mother of the heroine, who basically were divorced and didn't pay much attention to the child? or was it the mother herself, who was an alcoholic?
