Like Twintania said, training level affects the way ghosts use their powers (you can give them more orders on higher levels).
There are 3 parameters increased by leveling: discipline, intelligence and attention. They are described in Prima's Official eGuide.
The easiest one to test is attention, just compare level 0 and level 8 ghosts. After the ghost finishes casting a power, it will fire off another much sooner if it's high level.
Raising the ghost's level to 8 is actually pretty time consuming, which is why I decided to add this option.

Ohh.. Thats how you get more orders . This game has more content than i knew. However i think its kinda useless because of how short the game is. With more missions it could have been a nice concept

It also feels sorta useless since some of the orders dont work dont work well. I use "Pick on" or "Only use power in current band" even then roam at will is huge to the gameplay and makes a more effctive haunt and a better experince but the ghosts love to roam and not use their powers a huge bug I have been wanting fixed so you dont have to rebind them constantly or stick them in a single room. This leads Wendel and Buck to chase someone into a room nobody goes in and gets them stuck until you rebind them

With more missions it could have been a nice concept Let alone the lack of powers. Sticking to one ghost and trying to level it up when you've already played the game many times is pretty boring...

Since the mini editor scans the exe file of the game, were there hidden features found inside of it? maybe unused code or traces of the infamous real editor in a incomplete state? Also Happy new Year everyone!

No, debug data, and all editors had been deleted from source code before compilation

No, debug data, and all editors had been deleted from source code before compilation Were there ever successful ways to tap into the engine? what engine does ghost master use again? a super old version of maya with custom plugins? i think somebody mentioned it being the maya engine if i recall correctly.

Maya and engine it's something different. Maya is an editor which allows you to modify 3d models, Engine it's a program what helps you easier program games logic. Ghost master using modified version of OpenGL. There is no difference where you write import/export script until editor handles Joint rotation for bones.

All of the files was exported in SoftImage with a special plugin specially created for this game, so game was able to read them easier.

Update 0.4.0 Aside from introducing compatibility issues, it's mostly boring stuff - bug fixes and minor improvements. As of this version MiniEditor is no longer backwards compatible with it's earlier versions. At least partially - only the features changed in this release are affected.
Open the .exe modified in an earlier version and follow the instructions on integrity check screen to solve any issues.
This mostly boils down to opening the .exe in 0.3.7, unchecking the affected features and saving.
Changelog: - Added integrity check screen - detects common issues (including compatibility) and helps in solving them
- Fixed unlimited plasm - fixed a visual bug causing the game to falsely mark powers as too expensive to use (despite having no cost)
- Fixed ghost cloning - fixed a bug in team selection allowing empty portraits to be added to the team (which would crash the game when scenario is started)
- Reworked instant power recharge - split it into separate options for normal and continuous powers
- Reworked unlimited ghostplasm - shortened time lag after clicking the checkbox
