Sick Puppies are looking to produce patches for the French/German and Italian/Spanish versions of this game. There is no patch release date for these languages at the moment but when they become available they will be in the download section on the Empire Interactive support site.

You're right. Empire have changed the website so now it says in bold "UK only" (see here.) I guess people were getting confused by mirror sites because they are calling it the "European patch". Thanks for the warning bewitched.  |

This sucks... I applied the patch on the german version of the game, and now it won't even start (cd not found). I'm quite pissed at the moment, i just wanted to play a bug free ghostmaster and now i cannot even start it. Can the patch be undone without loosing my ghosts and level information? Maybe i just have to wait for the official patch. (They didn't even put a CRC check or something on the patch to prevent installing...)

Sledge... I have also applied the patch to my italian version and i have encountered the same problem, but i restored the old "ghost.exe" in the directory "Backup1" of the game, so i can play now with the previous version.

With a patched UK version I can no longer get the Haunting 101 tutorial when picking the recommended haunters and enabling the tutorial in options. Anyone else with this? System spec in the "system spec" thread here. |

Ok Sick Puppies have reviewed this and this will be corrected allowing the tutorial to become active again.
A new patch will be created to correct this. Hope it will be soon.

I had some serious audio problems after installing the patch. The sound was constantly breaking up, and the voices were all stopping about one second too soon.
I uninstalled the patch, and the sound is good again.
Maybe the updated game doesn't like my soundcard? It's a Creative SoundBlaster AWE64 Gold.
Other stuff:
Pentium III 1130Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX200
128mb Ram

another bug ive noticed that the patch failed to fix occurs when you use one of the scent related powers (ie choking odor, etc) sometimes when a mortal walks into a room and catches a wiff, they get stuck in the doorway with the animation of them waving their hand in front of their face looping
