If you have any comments regarding the patch update then please insert them here. I cant do anything about them but to keep all of the points in one place would be handy rather having them scattered all over the forum. A single point of reference. I know that the forum is reviewed by the people at Empire so it would be a handy reference point for them as well.

Good idea. I'll sticky this - please post comments in this thread only to keep it tidy.
Also, if you do post a new bug please also post your hardware specs, your OS and your driver versions.
Thanks.

Anybody out there who knows if the patch will work on the german version of Ghostmaster? I'm stuck in the Phantom of the Operationg room, because 3 times i was bugged (last person didn't leave) out of the game, so i really need some bugfixes to go on.
Anybody tested the patch on the german version, before i start a download on it?

It is a European patch, so I am guessing it will work on all currently released versions of the game. The patch, afterall, was released to bring the game in line with the US release.

The running in place bug still exists. I got it in Poultrygeist, where I had not seen it happen before, and to two mortals at the same time! However, it only lasted for a short time before they went back to normal. That's an improvement of sorts.
I also had a new graphics problem in Blair Wisp. During the ending movie, the last mortal to enter the basement walked to the exact position of another mortal and their images overlapped until they finally stopped talking and started the ritual. Not a good look. Then, there was no soul transfer image at the end of the ritual. Nothing gameplay related was wrong, but it all looked really strange.
The patch might have improved some things, but mortal movement and clipping still needs a lot of work.

The website quite clearly states that the patch is the UK patch for the UK version of the game.

The Ghostmaster UK patch is for use with the version of Macrovision protection software that was used with the UK product. If you use the patch with other language variants then you may encounter the message insert correct CD.

The website quite clearly states that the patch is the UK patch for the UK version of the game. 17.29 MB 28 July 2003 UK Patch -Compatible with UK product version only. That's confusing, as the readme file for the patch says this: CHANGES FOR EUROPEAN GHOST MASTER PATCH 1 So is it a UK patch or a European patch?

The readme is incorrect the patch is for the UK version of the game as stated on the Empire download site.
