Straight from your article, BoogieMan. So, the sky is blue, due to the fact that the light we see scattered all over the place is blue... Obviously, if we could see violet better, the sky would appear violet... But we don't, so it's blue...

Straight from the article ManInBlack.....
Blue light gets scattered (spread) around much more than all the other colors from the sun, causing the sky to appear blue.
It's not really blue. You can see the light spectrum in rainbows. When it rains, we see all the colors in rainbow. The mist serves as a filter for our eyes.
Yes, our eyes only pick up the blue light...an illusion.
BoogieMan p.s. Grass is really green.

So, does the question become, is the sky blue because that's what we see, or is it black because that's what scientists tell us? I dunno, it looks blue, everyone else says it looks blue. I'm happy with blue. If my eyes were structured differently this whole conversation would be the same except for the colour we see. I'm prepared to accept that it isn't blue, but for general day-to-day living, I'm sticking with blue.

The answer to the Question is "It isn't"... OK, fair enough, So what colour is it?
Is it black, or is that just the absence of colour? Does this help us?
Is it blue because that's what most (if not all) people who can see, see (if you see what I mean)? At least here we have a common frame of reference, though it might be useful to actually note the colour we see is an illusion (isn't everything?).

.....But if the blue sky is just an illusion, wouldn't that mean that....EVERYTHING is an illusion?
Things that aren't true is fiction...
In fiction, unreal things are truth...
Truth is reality....
In reality, fiction isn't real....
But what if every single thought of us create a new dimension in wich that thought is reality, wouldn't that mean that fiction is actually truth?
And what the hell am I trying to point out here?
