problems with the game

i'm having problems with the game.
when i run the movies outside the game from the disc it runs smothly, but once i run the game everything moves like in slow motion.
i got a P4 1.7G with 512MB ram and G-force 2 64MB video adapter.
any ideas?

Go to run and type in dxdiag and check if your computer is up to the game reqirements. Try Posting your results here I'm sure we'll figure something out.

8-)make sure you have media player 9 installed and ensure that you shut down as much as you can in the task manager to increase the system performance.
make sure you have directx 9.0a and that all your drivers are the latest from the manufacturers site.
