So if everyone recalls the thread about building the ghoul room in the sims 1, well I made the Kappa Lambda Sorority house in the sims 3, with accompanying Sorority girls. I tried to get it as close as I could. I couldn't do much with the roof, and all the circular mirrors in the sims 3 are obtusely tiny, but I'm mostly satisfied with the result. I've made two copies, one with most of the sorority girsl, and another with Tricia and Weatherwitch, the Student witches, and the Cohns because there can be only 8 sims per household. I also have more than 3 pictures to show, but all well.

I like it i am a big fan of the sims games and i have wanted to try this issue is i feel like my sims 1 for my PC just dosent feel right since its not full 3d i like being able to walk around in a full 3d world and i dont know if my new laptop will run it properly, I do in fact have the Xbox version of sims 2 but its proving difficult since there is no way to add a 2nd floor which means i have to choose a single floor or just build the other floor in a separate part of the lot

yeah, The Console versions of the sims are rather... lackluster at best, and awful at worst (Handheld versions lean towards the latter). I know for a fact the Sims 3 will not run on a laptop, it's too demanding for anything short of a brand new Desktop pc. The Sims 2 might, though, if your laptop is younger than 5 years. Also More pictures while I'm here. I worked a long time on this I'm gonna show it off as much as I can within a 3 attachment per post limit.

Nemsis: thank you! fireball: Perhaps, though you might not be able to get all the expansions/stuff packs. I believe you can get the sims 2 off Amazon, and I think maybe Origin? I know you can get it from amazon for a fact. Anyways, here's the rest of the sorority house pictures and my progress on the ghoul room.

Those look nice i intend to get it from steam/origin but i have to wait until i get money for it hopefully a gift card at christmas perhaps. The thing that surprises me is just how sporadic my laptop can be with games it plays far cry 2 and dragon age great at medium-high settings but some games that are less demanding such as ghost master and ghostbusters seem to be a bit tougher on it but i think i can run both sims 3 and 2 i recall the specs being not so demanding and if sims 1 had a few differences i would play that which i own

While the sims 2 will probably be able to run, i can tell you for a fact that the Sims 3 will chew up and promptly spit out your computer. The sims 3 is very Ram hungry, and will eat it all up. and it's also prone to crashing unless you A) are playing on a bleeding edge computer or B) playing it windowed. Trust me. I have a 5 year old desktop computer and it barely cooperates. anywho, I finished the ghoul room! I'm not as satisfied with this one as I was with the Sorority house. the floor plan is very wonky, partly because I guess I under/overestimated the sizes of certain rooms, and also fireplaces have chimneys in the sims while those in the ghoul room don't. so that borked the floor plan. also, the furniture is barely accurate. I thought the sims 3 had certain furniture that would match the furniture in the ghoul room, but I was very wrong (wall banners and Pinball tables, for instance). Bleh bleh bleh.

So far it looks good i can tell you put a lot of work into it ive always thought it would be cool to play sims in a ghostmaster level its just sims 2 lack of multiple floors that really makes it tough
