So I got Sims 3 during christmas with seasons and supernatural and it runs really well on medium setting 1280x720 so it does run great on laptops 
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
Radeon 4200
AMD Phenom ii P960
12GB Ram
500GB hard drive
so if you have a laptop and want the sims 3 i say go for it
