Hi, Lantern! It's nice to see someone so eager to edit Ghost Master content, but unfortunately there's a hitch. We've been trying for ages to edit the BSP files. This is what we've found out: - BSP character files seem to be compressed twice: once in ZIP-format and once in RAR-format. The BSP extension is fake. - If you do these two steps of decompression you'll end up with the "true" character file. - This file contains the character model modelled and textured in Maya 3D. The file also contains the textures themselves. Unfortunately a special plugin was used to export the character models to, say, Ghost Master format. We don't have any details about this plugin. Sick Puppies - the creator of Ghost Master - went out of business before they could tell us. So... Sadly we don't have the information to help you, Lantern! We're still trying to find out, but there's almost no chance we'll ever be able to add or edit any ghosts...

Okay. Firstly, the "editing" you saw is what we call BSP swapping. You simply take a ghost (i.e. Daydreamer), move its original BSP file somewhere else as backup and put a copy of one of the other ghosts' BSP (i.e. Thorne the pirate captain) in its place. Don't forget to rename the new file! The name must be exactly the same as the old file. If done right Daydreamer will become Thorne. A more advanced way is explained here. And now for unpacking the BSP files! I've looked up the information and it seems you can bypass one step of decompression if you rename the .bsp file to .gz. The file can then be opened with WinRAR. Inside the archive you'll find the real BSP file. And that's how far we've got. Any ideas?
