How about something like Heart Attack. Someone gets a heart attack and faints and people who see it get a little terror hit.

Another cool idea would be stretching walls or floors with hands, feet or faces pushing through or a power that makes all the windows and doors temporarily disappear from the room.
Or how about something humorous like the TV turning on Barney singing and a person gets chained to a chair and forced to watch it.

Choco awakening
mortals when they wake up they see everything made of choclate and they try to eat everything they see but if they hate chocolate they get a mega boost in terror
