By that I mean, powers that don't scare directly, or even affect mortals at all. Like, a power that recharges ghosts, protects ghosts from banishment, and so forth. Powers that work on you.
For example, I was thinking of a ghost with "Seance Spell", recharging powers of all ghosts throughout the haunting, and "Minor Disturbences", such as tea kettles puffing out steam, lights flickering, shadows dancing on the edge of mortal eyes, and that would give a morale boost to your team, making powers more effective, as though the entire field of mortals were uneasy.

Those are really good ideas actually! So maybe if a new game came out, ghosts would have 'PP' (I know that's a rip off of other games, but you get the point!)
There could be Ghosts that are purely there to recharge Health and PP!
How about...um......moves purely for specific ghosts!
Like......'Terroreyes Triumph' that makes his powers x3.5 better, or 'Big Boo' that temporarily makes Boo bigger (which helps when he shows himself).
And maybe 'Insanity Test' that causes a random noise coming from all Insane powered ghosts, or 'Electroplasm' that boosts all Electric ghosts!
Teehee, support powers rule!
I know! I know! (Gosh I have lots of ideas today)
'Banshee Love' - if all 3 Banshees are out at once, they all circle a certain mortal using random moves and causing a fleeing mortal eventually! YAY!

Yes....buff powers..
Having a ghost ONLY with powers that make other ghosts perform better would add more strategy to the game...
Ectoplasmic Euphoria...Makes ghosts so happy that can endure multiple attempts of banishing.. Revenant Rage (special, only works on spirits that were alive once) makes powers way more effective for a slight higher ectoplasm cost....
Oh man, that would all be so awesome..

OH! or "Cry of Grievance", which brings back all your banished ghosts, but banishes the one who used it, and de-terrifies mortals. WOOT! 666 posts! I'm at the point of true ghost mastery!

How about future vision, when the victims see themselves in the future (probably in a mirror) get old and fall to dust.

Uhh... cool as that is, it is not what i'm talking aboot. That affects mortals directly. Support powers make your haunters more effective by pumping them up, rather then de-pumping the mortals. Flower power is about all we got even close, and it STILL only effects mortals.

"Amplify": if a power of another ghost would have effect in a single room, instead it has effect also in nearby rooms. "Attack of the Clones": each other ghost may target two mortals at the same time with a power that would normally affect one mortal at a time. "Spooky Alliance": let another ghost use the powers of this ghost as though he had them
