Hi i finnaly fixed the computer lol , i think im gonna quit trying to get the game to work lol , well at least for a couple of weeks lol be4 i completly break the computer (if you have any safer methods please tell me) lol thanks Amie
Pity, because you were on the right track. That fuzzy screen, low colors and warning message meant that you had properly installed the standard VGA driver. Windows can't really handle that, see. Well, if ever you feel inclined to try again, just repeat the steps you did, install the new driver and perhaps...?

this is exactly the problem i have, black lines and slowdown. i have a pentium 4 and my video card is a raden 9259 128mb 64-bit. o tried a lot of things and none solved. here´s what appears on dxdiag,

I've got the same problem. Funny thing is, I could have sworn the game worked perfectly on this computer a couple months ago.

My computer was used to run the game perfectly (yes, "perfectly"). However, by the time I decided to improve the game (with the bonus scenario and the AllGhosts patch), an automatic update of Windows Vista apparently put a mess in the parameters. And now here are the black lines and awfully slow motion. Bad luck.
