Interesting to read that we aren't the only ones whose game won't save. The tech support phone people told my husband, a Microsoft Certified Tech that he'd never heard of such a thing. It won't run on either of our Dell Home XP computers. On line tech support replied and asked for ALL my computer info and never got back to us. Tried downloading the patch and was told I don't have the right version of the game for the patch. We are logged on as administrators. We have all the current drivers. We have installed, reinstalled, etc.
Anyone find anything out yet? Very frustrating!

And you also can't access C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Ghost Master\SaveGames?

That's the problem. You need full access to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Ghost Master\SaveGames in order to make the Ghost Master save work. Login under the account which you (or someone else) used to install the system and try to share the All Users folder with everyone on the computer (full access!).

well, now at least i dont feel so alone ;D EdiT- I have good news! I have remedied the problem with a little bit of tweaking. It must be done in "Safe Mode" tho. Start up your pc in Safe Mode (hit F8 while firing it up), and just go find the folder in Explorer, and go into properties/security/advanced.... or was it properties/advanced/security? Just follow the instructions on this page and you will be fixed! www.bootdisk.com/bootlist/077.htm#3 I just pummeled the sorority girls in Haunting 101 in 5:11, and it fully saved my progress, and i can continue game. I just had a feeling it was a simple tweak here and there. Thanks alot for the help Nemesis = ]

Thanks for the help. My husband came in and got access to that area but it didn't help. However, on my son's computer (very similar to mine), after they got access he found save games and it started saving. He had a shared folder where they were being put. My computer didn't have a shared folder. My husband copied my son's saved folder over to my computer and it still isn't working but we're closer. I copied the last message here and will try that out.
Thanks for the help everyone. I'll keep trying! ;D

It may be that you only shared the All Users folder and not it's subfolders. Make sure you shared them all. Just a thought. Good luck anyway.
