I have played usual suspects level right to the end twice now - and on both occasions one character, although terrified got stuck. This happened to two different characters. how am I supposed to finish the level if this happens every time. Patch needed urgently to solve pathfinding problems.

I agree - I would post your concerns to empire interactive on the support form (which you can find in the Technical support FAQ post) The more people who post about the problem the more likely it will be adressed in the upcoming patch

IMO the problem with the "unusal suspects" haunting is that it's ojectives are so linear, especially in respect to the Professor and his accomplice.
The first time i "finished" this mission it refused to end.There were no more mortals to scare away but i think i scared the Prof away too soon.I certainly didn't see the cut scene i saw the time i sucessfully finished it.
I can't comment on the fire problems as i never took Arclight on the haunting.

I've found that using a ghost to possess the stuck character causes them to be freed. You may need to cast possess then bench the ghost to get the result, but it certainly seems to work for me.

Arclight may not necessarily be the best choice anyway if you need to possess people.. maybe Ghastly or another spook that doesn't need to be bound to murder would do.

I find that any character ALWAYS  freeze when they used the fire extuingusisher (NOT SPELT CORRECTLY!)
