Note: the "fire extinguisher bug" does not only occur when people are holding a fire extinguisher. Any group of simultaneous events can cause a so-called "deadlock". The patch only (partially) solves the deadlocks caused by fire extinguishers.

Yeah, I noticed that. Most of the time for me, they've pickd up the Fire extinguisher, but then put it down later, done something, and got stuck. One time, the crooked cop (forgot his name) was frozen to his computer after I used Hidden Maze with Blue Murder.

Once in Full Mortal Jacket, a guy used a fire extinguisher and got stuck, bet I benched Firetail and when the flames died down, he dropped the extinguisher and walked away.

Hmm. maybe your bug isn't as effective. Maybe the producers re-released a version of the game with the bug died down? Or, maybe one with the patch installed?

That bug in Unusual Suspects still occurs though.

Yeah. I suppose Unusual Suspects is where the bug is most effective. Shame, really. It's a good level.

The easiest way to "reset" stuck mortals is to set them on fire. Bind firetail to the police car and see if its in range.

Uhm... yes... but you have to bear in mind that if you use fire, other mortals will start using fire extinguishers and that can mean more "stuck" mortals! Basically I just throw everything I have at them; that usually works fine.

Driving stuck mortals insane usually does the trick for me. They tend to be immune to fear attacks though...

Hmmm... From what I've heard from other people that usually seems to work, up to the point where the bar is almost completely filled and gets "stuck", i.e. the mortals seem to become immune to every insanity-inducing attack. Maybe the bar will continue to rise after a while, but it will probably take a lot of time...
