Argh... horrible internet browsers... this is the third time I've typed this in now....
Firstly... HI everyone... I bought this game on Friday from game after having it preordered for months...
Been enjoying it loads and thanks for the help guys - know it or not there were a couple of clevels I a was stuck on until I found this board....
The 9700 is a very good card - far superior to my ti4600 - and I can run it 1600x1200 with AA/AF without issues so it'd be highly unlikely it was realted to that...
TLTLT what motherboard do you have?

I've got a elite group K7S5A which is pretty damn awful, as standard it disbles SSE instructions on XP chips, but I've got an overclocking Bios and it works better than it ever has before.

Stupid question pehaps but do you have teh latest motherboard drivers installed? A screwed AGP driver is goinng to cause you severe graphical issues in terms of speed and maybe quality of image too.... I've stayed away from SiS chipsets over the years so I'm not too sure of their quirks but the VIA, AMD and nVidia Athlon boards function very poorly without all of teh corrcet chipset drivers installed.

Yeah, I've got all the lastest drivers for my motherboard.
What I don't understand is that all my other games work fine.
Yet it seems I'm the only one with a problem in Ghost Master

here's an idea that might be worth trying......
run dxdiag and set teh 3d aceleration on video/sound down a notch or two ... some games i know have been helped in the past by that

Ok i have to agree with TLTLT, the game has an awful peformance on the bigger levels!
i got 2 pc's here:
Pentium4 - 1,5 Ghz 512 Rdram Creative Gforce 4 Ti 4400 Creative Audigy Player
Pentium4 - 2,4 ghz 1024 Sdram Ati Radeon 9700 Creative Live!
and the conclusion is that both of them peform poorly on the bigger maps (especially Deadfellas and The Police Station!). This is definetly not Hardware related, but game related cause they both run every other game without a flaw or drop in frames per second!.
Changing settings in the game like bits and resolutions also doesn't have any positive effect on the game's fps!
weird? definetly! hope they fix it soon, cuz its def game related!
