Who here would like to see a portable version of Ghost Master? (not laptops) I think it would be pretty cool to have a portabale version on the 3DS PSP or even a phone version.. I have very little experince with it but it could be done through homebrew

You can give up on porting it to consoles, it takes a team of developers to do that.
As for phones, are there even any working windows emulators for mobile? Quick search on my end didn't yield anything conclusive. Perhaps you could search for one, or try installing Windows on your phone?

Maybe someone could rewrite the whole game into modern engine? Like Unity, or Unreal.
Then it would be easier to port this game into other platforms.

@ leotachy
No one is going to do that, it would take a massive amount of work (likely unpaid, and infriging on several copyrights). Anyone capable of that would be better off just making his own game.
Altough Ghost Master 2 (fan-made) seems close enough to that.

I think it could be ported if people wanted ti to be,, i have seen communitys port all sorts of games to consoles and handhelds via homebrew and outside of the team working on Ghost Master 2 Ghost Master is a dead series sadly, no dev is likely to pick it up anytime soon

I'm surprised attempts are being made. I bunk people would REALLY like a new GM. Both fans and new people alike. However, this game is being produced on an indie budget. There's no way of telling if it even has legal clearence. It could be up to a year or more before we hear more about GM2. But like I said before the game industry is a little repetitive right now. And I think the concept of a horror movie you control would be really interesting. Especially with good graphics, characters and story like the original GM.

They have contacted ghost master rights owner "Strategy First".. Im not sure how it went tho.

Who here would like to see a portable version of Ghost Master? (not laptops) I think it would be pretty cool to have a portabale version on the 3DS PSP or even a phone version.. I have very little experince with it but it could be done through home-brew It's a great idea. I just think that it would be a better choice to maybe work out a really well produced PC Ghost Master first. One on Steam that would really pull people in. The whole idea of being "evil" or sims god mode stuff really is a market right now with a flood of high production FPS style games and smaller indie games. I think the with Ghost Master's humor, unique gameplay and story the idea of "controlling" a horror movie would be really fascinating to a new generation of gamers such as GM 1 was for us. Especially with all of the progress we've had in video game graphics and physics since 2003, the new GM game could be really big. Once the game is announced and well favored it wouldn't be hard to port it for mobile or portable consoles. There's a game that come to mind now where you play a Poltergeist similar to Ghost Master in a 19th century mansion and scare people out or drive mad. It's pretty fun and on steam I think. There's also the older game The Haunting Staring: Polterguy. So I think a smaller, more animated and people would love it I'm sure. Somebody should home-brew some ideas with scaring type games where you control the horror movie. I think people get so into making a sequel for GM, which is great. But any game with a gameplay dynamic like GM would be well received IMO. Idk maybe I'm just ranting haha
