Hi all, I am an advanced computer user, read the FAQ, updated my video drivers to 44.03, have DX9.0a, but the game crashes everytime, though not always at the same point. Sometimes I am able to start a new game, but it then always crashes in the intro movie, at other times it already crashes at the developer cutscenes at the start. The crash manifests itself in an automatic reboot of the pc... Specs: WinXP Pro 512 MB DDR RAM ASUS V8420 Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB (latest asus drivers) Creative Labs SB Audigy (latest drivers) 40GB free on harddisk DX9.0a ASUS P4B533-E motherboard, latest drivers and BIOS. Please help!

It may also be noted that the cutscenes play VERY sluggish!

I found the solution!!!
Be sure to set virtual memory managed by Windows (be sure to check this as some programs seem alter this setting by themselves).
Be sure to use the NVIDIA reference drivers v44.03!
Then Ghostmaster will work fine.

I too have read the forum message on the official website that recommended that letting windows control your virtual memory would fix the random crash fault.
Sorry to say ... it hasn't worked.
Neither has new drivers or sound card. If you are running Ghostmaster on XP .... your gonna crash!
I'm now left with the solitary hope that the official patch will resolve the real cause of the random crashes.

There's something very wrong with those ASUS GeForce drivers (ASUS are normally very robust with their hardware and drivers).
If anyone is reading I advise you to do as recommended by Yskonyn and replace your ASUS drivers with nVidia reference drivers until this problem is resolved (well spotted Yskonyn).
