Do any people from empire actually come here to give technical support?
If not I do not see the point of this thread, and is very misleading to potential buyers of the game.

This isn't an official site. The Technical Support forum is just a place for people who are having problems or for people who can offer help.
You're more likely to get help than if your message is stuck amongst the General Discussions topics.
