In Win2000 or XP, you can find out the more interesting specifications of your PC by hitting [Windows Key on Keyboard] and [Print Screen] at the same time. Right clicking on "My Computer" and choosing properties has the same result.
This will tell you what kind of CPU you have and how much RAM. There's more stuff to be found, either through Device Manager (found in the hardware tab of system properties) or System Information (start > run > type "msinfo32" without the quotes, then hit enter).
I'm using an AthlonXP 2500 that's been overclocked to 3000-equivalent speeds, on an an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. My RAM consists of 2 1GB PC3200-rated Kingston modules, and I'm using a Radeon 9700 All-in Wonder. Sound is all dolby-digital and output to an Onkyo TX DS696 receiver and a set of midrange Acoustic Research 5.1 speakers (HC-6s). I played the game on a 32" 16x9 Princeton monitor.

Everyone; SHHHHHHHHHH!!! ;D AMD Athlon 3200+ (overclocked from a 3000+) Epox nForce2 Motherboard HIS Radeon 9700 Pro 128 MB (will be 10000 Pro next month, I hope) 2x512MB DDR RAM (Dual DDR) 200GB Hdd (forgot the name of the vendor) Platronics DSP 500 - the headphones that have their own sound card (although the motherboard's sound card was the best onboard card in the world) Logitech Mx700 (or 900, don't remember, just the newewst) Radiowave, optical mouse Logitech sthing. Keyboard Aopen case (the one with the blue neon light and a 'window'. Cute!) Sony 21'' E250 Trinitron monitor Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM BUT.... No CD/Writer I have waited 4 YEARS to customize a computer like this, because my old one was: (summarized) PIII 733, 128MB SDRAM, 10.1GB Hdd, TNT' M/64 16MB Well, there ARE vast differences between two comps I reckon!
