Yeah, but there are differences between console and PC.
For instance - I haven't got a game controller of any sort for my PC. Now I could go and get one - but for some reason I don't. Not sure which to buy, plus whenever I do have any money - I usually buy games.
On the other hand - my PS2 comes with quite a good controller ;-) but of course no keyboard.....
Right, well I have to say I prefer playing some games on a controller and some with keyboard (unless the damn designers don't give you a decent keyboard layout or the ability to change the crappy one they selected...) which splits my preference for PC/Console.
There's also something rewarding about playing a game on the TV rather than a monitor. The TV is set up for 'comfy' watching - plus there's no room around my PC for multi-player gaming.
Now this might all be to do with setup of where my stuff is and what I own, but basically I feel that some things work better on console and some better on PC.
I have a feeling that anyone who doesn't like the PC control method may much prefer the console version (whichever - they (PS2/XBox) will probably be very similar), plus there's the chance that there will be less bugs - a PS2 is a PS2 is a PS2 - usually only a few setups - not like a PC where there are infinite different hardware setups...
On the other hand this debate will rumble along until most gaming equipment comes in the form of a multi-purpose 'entertainment' device (the like of which Sony plan as their next console release), which we can then argue about. Huzzah!
