What is wrong with the Hutz? Corpses in their house? And who is this Old Lady? Is she Gramma Hutz? Did she kill Maxine? Also, I've seen Diane carry Arclight's corpse around. Strange! I know this is a very old and I hope it's ok to comment. I think that the Hutz family is just a normal family that seems to be Upper Middle Class that moved into a new house. It just so happens this old, victorian style house clearly has a lot of dark secrets. I don't think the Hutz family is related to whatever "sweet little old lady" poisoned everyone. In fact, in the game guide it states that the narrator presumably has hesitation about haunting the Hutz family. Because the haunting should be put on the architect who built the home on a chicken burial grounds and not some innocent family that just so happens to move in. Idk what glitch you are mentioning. I've seen some videos where Diane was possessed by Arclight. Anyhow, I think that the Hutz family is just your typical, suburban family that happened to move into a haunted house. The characters are all a parody of either the Amityville or The Poltergeist in which a family moves into a haunted house basically or occupies one. It's also stated that the family just moved into the house from another location on the other side of Gravenville. Their current house is described as being "on the outskirts" of town adding to the tension of their haunting.
