Thanks for clearing that up, though like you said it does not justify priacy. The games market is filled with sequels without any real innovation and it is rare that anyone attempts anything original due to the huge cost of making a game.
Prirate copies do little more than make the smaller compainies suffer and stop anyone from taking the risk of doing something new. Sick puppies should be praised for taking such a risk and we really should support them buy paying for their hard work.
Everyone likes something for nothing, but the line should be drawn somewhere.

I think SP may be asking for trouble by delaying the US release for so long after the UK. There is a great risk that pent-up demand will result in a load of Americans downloading the ISO.
The ISO out there is the full CD with crack included, including movies, intro etc. I have to say I downloaded the game at the weekend and loved it. I will be buying the game tomorrow
BTW, what is the real reason for the different release date, is the US version going to be more "fully-featured" than the UK?

I hope lots of people won't download the game, but I can see a lot of American ordering it online from England before it gets released over there.
No one is certain, but we think it's because people in the USA take Halloween more seriously, so they want to release it nearer then. If you remember, the proposed release date for the game was last Halloween, although it got put back quite a lot, and now it's currently scheduled for this September. As for extra content, aparantly they are talking about putting extra stuff on, although nothing is confirmed yet.
Hope this clears it up a bit.

The reason I download so many games is that I can't afford the stupidly expensive prices they're asking for. The maximum price for a PC game used to be £34.99, now I see games priced at £39.99. One of the reasons I love the PC so much is because the games were always cheaper than console games, that is no longer the case and the prices keep going up. I agree that Rips and ISO's are unjustified, but sod it, they're free and I have too many games to count now. Some rips are admittidely naff, but most are fine and some rips you get everything that comes with the original game. If I see a good game, I will still buy it. It's rare, but I made an exception for Splinter Cell, Unreal 2 and Black Hawk down. I still fund the games companies, but I like my free games too. After all, it's better than a demo.

Have to agree with James...the developers of this title surely deserve to be rewarded with your purchasing this game if you downloaded it, played it and enjoyed it.
Certainly almost everyone has been burned purchasing a game that downright sucked or was so bug-infested that the developers should have been paying you for betatesting...buyer beware and all that.
That is not the case here.
This title imo is original, creative and pretty good fun...your teenage kids would probably enjoy it and is good value for the money...might be a little short but it should have pretty good legs nonetheless.
Sick Puppies deserve your money if you like this game.

I agree with James that SP could be waiting for halloween - it seems like a good time to market the game. I suppose they could have delayed the game here (in the UK) until halloween but then they would have been sitting on it for a long time.
It would be nice if extra content was included in the US game.. possibly the extra characters / cut out levels - as its always nice if that happens. If they do that decide to do that it would also be nice to bring the UK game up to date, but I wouldn't really mind if they didn't as its such an original / fresh game in my opinion even if it does have bugs.
