Little back round info first. I live in this very historical town with multiple, untouched, cemeteries spread throughout the woods as historical landmarks that cannot be altered. There are also some histories of haunting and is also rated as one of the most haunted towns in the area from multiple reports.
Story:
At this time, I would of been something like 14. I am mid 20's now, but still remember this quite vividly. I was riding my bike through some trails with a friend, we have been going for some time now and we stopped to walk our bikes across this sand pit that was very hard to peddle through. Anyways, my buddy said something that made me turn around to talk to him face to face. As we were doing this, I caught something from the corner of my eye ~400ft away. I was a bit perplexed at first at this for I thought it was something of landscape at first and couldn't figure out why it stood out so much. Then as I fixated on this object, my vision sharpened like a hawk's. I suddenly zoomed in and made out what it was. It was a black figure with an aged white face that had no eyes or nose, for these were pitch black. The only distinguishable feature was the aged, yet timeless, white chin and mouth with a grim complexion and wrinkled. Time seemed to have become still, and the world seem to have become silent as I just stared into the black abyss of this black robed, eyeless figure. Suddenly my friend caught my attention and snapped me out of it. I blinked and in that one blink the figure vanished never to see it again.
My buddy with a noticeable concern in his expression asked me if I was alright. He said I was completely white and my face drained of color like I saw a ghost. I noticed I had a cold sweat and replied that I think I just did. My friend then proceeded to say how that would make sense because I had not blinked in a few minutes and was in a bit of a trance that he couldn't break me out of it. After this we went our way into the remainder of the ride, little did I know that about 3 weeks later while walking there I found one of the three graveyard that I was never aware was there only about a 150ft from where the figure was standing.
