I tried Maya. It kind of worked. I was able to view the models, albeit without the textures. And I had no option to change anything and then save it back to a format that Ghost Master could understand.

I don't know anything about Blender, but... Do somebody know, which programs creators of GM were using while making the game? Did somebody tried to open game files in these programs?

I used an illegal version of Maya (shame on me). That's the program Sick Puppies used to create the 3D models. Unfortunately they then used a custom plugin to export the models and textures into single files. We don't have that plugin. But maybe we don't really need it! To me it looks like the textures simply have been pasted to the end of the 3D model file. So basically the models and image files were crudely glued together in one file for each ghost, mortal, scenario, etc. Oh yes, and after that step the combined files were compressed into an archive type (can't remember which at the moment). When I exploded (i.e. decompressed) the files and opened them in Maya, I was able to (partially) view them. So maybe that process can also be reversed? Just thinking!

I used an illegal version of Maya (shame on me). When I saw this price... I am not even angry on you. 2000$ for smaller version?! I don't know much about computers, so I can't help you. How sad, that files of missions like "The Abysmal" are not in the game - if idea with reversing would work, we could see these cut locations I just can wish you good luck with it!

We can create it if we find a way to convert a file into bsp format, as for Maya? you are allowed a trial version if you are a student in college and i am not so i would rather not lie about it in order to use it but sadly thats the program ghostmaster used :/
