Got azrael working ;D. He works like dragoon(replaced him with blair wisp). He still needs animations, but its working well. Unluckily I didn't found out how to add fire under his wheels(like there is under draggon's horse's feet) . Anyway the result looks pretty solid in my opinion. For Smokin Joe i need a piece of advice, what looks better? The original animations(which are pretty buggy) or some frome other ghosts(like fingers for example).

Well, its me I registered. Looked at the older thread(Where someone else did something like this, but the link is dead, the thread is named "Cool Mod"). Gonna download a hex editor and look into a copy of my exe(was something explained in the old thread. Found out you could have dragoon and azrael unbenched at the same time, you couldn't do that in the old version(looks pretty awesome ;D). I changed Azraels type from wisp to headless horsemen(he is still at his slot with the lvl 1 haunters, but he uses same plasm as dragoon).

Looks and sounds very promising! And I think it's best to make an animation "mix" for Smokin' Joe. Keep the best and ditch the rest, so to speak! And "officially" welcome to the forum, by the way!

I put Smoking Joe on painter(think i gonna use a bit from fingers and Joes original animations in the end). I took a deep look into the old thead, too. I downloaded the hex editor and went into the game exe. There I changed some of moonscreams animation with some from sulscreech. For example moonscream_man(which is used for spooky surprise). However the result confused me a bit. Nearly all animations caused moonscream to freeze(the game didn't crash, moonscreem just stood totally still). For example if you used spooky surprise with soulscreech animation(soulscreech_man), moonscream was just hanging still in air as long as she was visible. After that she moved again. It looked kinda weird. However when i changed moonscreams idle animation(moonscream_idl), the game crashed as soon as moonscream was used(I could start the game and go to ghoul room for example, but then it crashed cause moonscream was in there). The same happend when i replaced moonscream's bsp animation with soulscreech's. Again the same happend when i replaced all animations (but it was the idle animations and the bsp file that caused the crash). If you know what i did wrong pls tell me. I think I need to hex edit more(in the save game, the bsp animaion file or even in both). My only guess is that Soulscreech' animations and Moonscreams animations bear different names. Does it work if you, for example, use existing animations? The ones you know the name of?

I Did it ;D I'm just so happy right now. appeared that i did some sort of failure last time, but no wonder was late night. Gonna work a bit with it and upload some sreenshots when I'm done.
Mayby I will upload some files in the next day, so that you guys can have a look at it(but won't be fully done if I will upload it).

Looks really, really cool! Well done! As for the "mix": you can't really combine animations themselves (i.e. make a new animation out of two or more existing animations). At least not as far as I know. What I meant is what you are apparently already doing: using animations from different ghosts to successfully "reanimate" an incomplete ghost. Smokin' Joe is going to be a very tricky one!

first off all thx I looked into smoking joe, he has some of the most awesome animations in the whole game ;D, but its not done everything. The biggest problem was his idle animation. It's very weird. I just used the first two idle animations and the result was fine. He has a nice spooky surprise animation, but sadly painters isn't available to learn spooky surprise, so he has no animation for it, that i could replace with smokin joe's. Mayby maxine or ghastly woud work, I might have a look at that later. I don't rly understnad how to mix the animations, cause as far as i understood u can only use the animations of 1 at once. U always only load 1 animation bsp file. If you use animations from a animation bsp file you didn't load, the ghost will freeze. I found out how to edit the powers of the ghosts in the ghost.exe, even the powers a ghost can learn. If u have some sort of list about the powers hex codes, it would be very helpful. If u change the powers in the ghost exe it will replace them in any new game you start, for a mod its better then editing the savegames in my opinion.
