I'm currently running my computer with Windows 7 64 bit Professional, with a Quad-core processor 3.2 Ghz, 8 Gb RAM, with a Radeon 6950 that came out back around early December. I've already gotten as up-to-date a driver as I can.
Now, before I put in the 6950 I had an Radeon EAH 5750 video card. Which the game worked perfectly fine on.
But since I installed the new card, when I try to start the game up. My screen will white out like its starting up, then it'll flash right back to the desktop with no error message or anything. I've searched around for some possible answer without much luck. I have also tried using RadeonPro to tweak how the game uses the video card without much luck so far neither.
Any assistance would be appreciated!

So the game worked fine before the switch? I assume you were using Windows 7 then as well?

Yup, was using Windows 7 64 bit before then as well. The only thing that was changed is the video card itself.

Somewhere in the Ghost Master game folder are the launch videos. See if you can find and start them! Sorry for the lack of info there. I don't have Ghost Master on this computer.

Its fine, wasn't too hard for me to locate them. Which, they all start just fine, including the ending credit vids for that matter.

Okay, so it isn't a video file issue. Now! You've found the videos! Maybe you can look for the log file as well?

Hmm, well what would the log file be called if you know? Would it also be a .txt type of file? I found one .txt file that was labeled 'Ghost Error' with this inside of it,
'Text missing from .\text\english.ut8 - Check log file'
So I know thats not the log file, but anything you can tell me could help me narrow it down a bit more easily. Thanks ^..^

Oh, I also forgot to mention, but a friend linked me to a couple different pages. One of which I noticed that a number of people with the same problem I was having, were all using ATI cards, so that might be something.

Hmmm... Maybe I've still got a version of English.ut8 online... I can't check right now, but I'll post a download link as soon as possible, okay? Because I really think it could be the file, not the video card! EDIT: Here's the link! Right-click, save as, backup the old english.ut8 and replace it with this one. Maybe, just maybe, it will help!
