so my problem seems to be quiet common but since I haven't found any solutions I will open another thread.
I bought the Steam version of Ghost Master some time ago and yes it starts and it doesn't crash but once I start a game everything runs VERY slow (the cursor still moves fast but everything else is slow)

You don't seem to have the latest graphics drivers. It isn't likely that it will solve the problem, but I think you should try updating them first.

ok updated it, new drivers version is
6.14.12.5896 (ForceWare 258.96) / XP
but the problem remains

som are, others aren't (my collection ranges from old 2d games like Oddworld to state-of-the-art games as Crysis, Cod Moderns Warfare 2 or GTA 4) but none of them has any problems

Check! Is there heavy drive activity during the time you're in the game (incessant DVD/harddisk activity)?
