Repeated crash in Phantom of the Operating Room

Got the game from Steam and it seems to work fine on my computer.

Except that somewhere in the middle of the Phantom of the Operating Room, it always crashes. I haven't noticed any specific event associated with the crash. It generally happens after I've gotten the haunting well underway.

Too much action, I guess. Can you post some system specifications, please?

Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, 2 GB memory, running XP pro SP3. And a Quadro FX 1600M for graphics.

I tried verifying the game files and Steam seemed to think it fixed something, so that may have done it. Haven't had a chance to test it yet.

If that doesn't solve the problem, try completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. Be sure to backup your savegames first!
