Of course. But for my, it goes like this: scare the **** out of Haid, he runs away, Franz goes into the cellar, does his "yeah im totally maintaining low profile"-animation, goes into Haid's room, but then LEAVES again, upstairs to the PC or whatever. over and over again.

Luring him doesn't help? (Don't know if you can. Sorry, haven't played Ghost Master for quite a while now. ) And how far does he go into the room? Does he turn around directly at the door?

He goes to the PC in the room, turns around, goes to the door looking if someones coming, then into the room again but INSTANTLY turning around and back upstairs. i also tried it with rattle chains from boo, but it didnt help at all. is that a (common) bug?

Not really. It should usually be an easy task! Have you tried restarting the level yet?

Or maybe you can try freeing her on a revisit...

Norman is not always cooperative about when he decides to steal the cash. It takes time, but there is an alternate way to reveal his guilt. For a clue, notice Blue Murder mentioning whoever set her up must be having nightmares of being found out.
