I just thought I would let you guys know that I belong to another forum that did get an internal party together. Well actually it was just a UK party but any one was invited to come. I live in the US, I opted not to make the fight. In any case they did get in done and from what I read they got a good size amount of people there. It wasn't easy though, I was probably reading that thread for a year and a half before they got in together(if no longer).
So you know the forum is for the "Shining Force" games. It is some what of a nitch game out side of jap. It doesn't have a huge community, although admittedly a little bigger than this one. I think the smaller community is what made it possible, I think a larger community wouldn't have been as interested in meeting one another face to face. Also you would need one or two people to REALLY keep pushing for it. There was not member on the other forum that I know it would have never come together if it wasn't for him.

You're absolutely right. Arranging a party takes a lot of effort, especially if it's international. What kind of party is it going to be... where is it going to be... Sheesh! I even have trouble getting from A to B in the Netherlands!

Isn't the technical term "Lan Party"?

By LAN do you mean "Local Area Network". Were a group of people get together and play a miltiplayer video game on a ....... well local area network.
If that is what you mean then no. It was just a get together of a group of people form that forum.

So your basically saying that you want people from this forum to meet in real life, in a building to play Ghost master together?, Aka Lan Party. It's very common, but I'm afraid I might not be able to go, I'm having a lan party with my gaming clan.

Um... Ghost Master doesn't have a multiplayer mode, remember? So it isn't a LAN party since you won't be playing across a network, local or not. But let's stop being fussy about names! It's after all the party that counts!
