Hey there, I want to start playing this game again but I only have a Windows Vista laptop and there have been quite a few problems with games that are a few years old. So I want to know if Ghost Master will work on Vista, even if I have to download a patch that's ok. Thanks so much for whoever helps

I can't help you at this point because I don't have Vista. Maybe the safest bet is to just install it and have a go? Then I can always try to help you if it doesn't work!

Hello, I am a new guy here.
I have recently installed Ghost Master on a new PC and replayed through it entirely. My new PC has Windows Vista so I can answer this thread question: yes, it works just fine.
However, I can't find where the games are saved. This is a problem because I want to try the bonus scenario and the ghosts-for-all-missions patche. Weither I can use the modified game with them or not, I don't want to take the risk of loosing them.
So, can anyone tell me where are those files, so I can copy them in a safe place ?

Welcome, Nolim! You're most likely to find your savegames somewhere in the shared/All User folder. For Windows XP the location is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Ghost Master\Savegames. For Windows Vista it will probably be the same (or at least something in that direction). Good luck and have fun!

How are the file(s) named ?
Could it be something like vssver.scc ?
Edit: I made a copy of the whole SaveGames. This should work.

Better double-check! Savegames have the extension .sav. Each collection of savegames has an option file with the extension .opt. Vssver.scc files don't have anything to do with savegames. Use the Windows search option if you can't find the savegame files!

Enter "*.sav;*.opt" (without the double quotes) as search text. Then let the program search through all the files on all of the available harddisks (make sure you select the right options for that!).

Is that the actual error message (or translation of it) or are you giving a description?
