Speaking of chains, and after playing FFX-2, how about horror chains? Like combos? So you could use Legion, then Spooky Surprise, and there's a combo meter like (x 1.25 per hit)
So if you plan it carefully, it could go:
Level 1 Move - x 1 - Hits 1 scaredy meter / 100 Level 2 Move - x 1.25 - Hits 2.5 / 100 Level 2 Move - x 1.5625 - Hits 3.125 / 100 Level 3 Move - x 1.953125 - Hits 5.859 / 100 Level 5 Move - x 2. 44140625 - Hits 12.207 / 100 Level 7 Move - x 3.051757813 - Hits 21.362 / 100
You get the idea:
Cumulative = 46 scaredy points / 100 Normally = 20 scaredy points / 100
You'd need a better combo rate, but it's 1.3 bigger!
Chains get broken when a ghost is benched, or a person flees or summut

Ooo then its not very good...coz in the levels that have ghostbreakers, the breakers will catch ur ghosts...stopping the chain... but when u scare the breakers away... it becomes too easy and thus when a person flees the chain is broken again

Exactly, adds strategy!
"Do you want to rack up a chain of small moves and then unleash something BIG to have huge impact and finish the chain?"
It's all about order and timing

that does happen anyway, the more scared/insane/believing a person is, the more a move affects them, so if you use mania then phychotic rage tis better than using Psychotic rage than mania... I think

Using electrical powers like Surge on the mortals stuck in rooms flooded by water should cause electric shocks/burns, which would cause a burst of plasm without killing them.

How about a Madness Fetter. Like a strait jacket or a Jack in The Box.
Mortal fetters?
