ok, to understand this stuff you need to understand the plot I made up.
first of all you and your ghosts are all happy but then Doctor Brunner has this new machine and it sends some sort of astaral beam into the sky and pulls you and your haunters back into the mortal world.
But luckily the machine malfunctions sending your haunter friends flying all over the place. The game is retrieving your haunters and exacting your revenge against Doctor Brunner and the ghostbreakers.

which leads us to the church, It is a big bright, gothic style building. You play during the day so there is a light atmosphere... at the beginning.
a wedding is happening downstairs and a funeral is taking place upstairs, the basement is the crematoreum.
Brigit is fettered downstairs and has been forced to watch wedding after wedding and has been going insane and longs to bring suffering to the happy couples who didn't get their hearts broken.
There is a water elemental bound to the baptism font which has a huge crack in it, you have to get the crack fixed, then fill the font with water and s/he will be freed!
Of course there will be preists running about all over the place excorcicing your ghosts so you have to stay on your toes.

also a fast food place where you have to scare every body out for a nice easy level near the beginning. Geoff can be bound outside demanding revenge on the heartless b******s who kicked him and threw him out and left him to die, and stonewall is bound in a patch of rank, polluted earth outside unable to leave because the earth is so dead. You use someone like scarecrow with creepers or flower power to make the soil alive again.
