I get an "out of range" error when I try to play Ghost Master. This is because of the game setting the refresh rate to a number my monitor can't handle. Is there a config file or some way of manually setting the refresh rate from outside the game?
Thanks

Didn't someone have this problem before? Hmmm... To answer your question: there is a file in which you can change the in-game resolution. Actually, there are multiple files, but it's... uhm... rather difficult... Somewhere in the savegame files there should be a HEX value with which you can change the resolution. But we don't know the offset (i.e. position in the file)... Yes, I think this is one we really need to figure out.

Howdy. Just picked up the Steam version of GH. Looks interesting (overtones of Dungeon keeper) but having a refresh issue. My monitor is a Westy 32" LCD and over a HDMI cable it requires fairly specific settings. I've managed via a previous post to customize the resolution to 1360x768, but having trouble with the refresh rate as per the above poster. I've tried searching the *.opt file for the number 60 and replacing it with 61, my monitor's preferred refresh rate, but not working yet. Anyone else having trouble found a fix? Stel!

As far as I know there haven't been any other posts about people having refresh rate issues. Resolution, yes, but never so specifically about the refresh rate. I don't think there's a fix (yet). Why does your monitor require 61 as setting? It's a rather odd number, if you ask me!

LCD, Acer AL1716.
I installed the game on my dads PC he has a TFT and it works fine in fact it works better.
I can load the splash screen but it runs really slow and when the game itself loads I get the not supported message.

Do you have another monitor nearby that you can hook up to your computer?
