If your GhostError.log looks like this: file: C:\ghostsource\Ghost\win\wininit.cpp line: 87 function: Assert Fired
Spooky paranormal program termination:
Illegal memory read 0xc The execution address was 0x47593d ref points CritErrStr 0x924e90, OurHWExceptionHandler 0x4b0c90 then the game-path isn't setup correctly in the registry. Or maybe it looks like this: Couldn't open file E:\GhostMaster\GhostData\text\english.ut8 Spooky paranormal program termination:
Illegal memory read 0x0 The execution address was 0x453150 ref points CritErrStr 0x924e90, OurHWExceptionHandler 0x4b0c90 then your language isn't setup correctly. For both cases create a new .txt file with the following content: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Empire Interactive\GhostMaster\1.00.000] "Install Path"="E:\\GhostMaster" "Source Path"="E:\\GhostMaster" "Language"=dword:00000007 "Windwalker"=dword:00000000 Where Install Path and Source Path refers to your game dir (yes, there must be two backslahes \\ ). Then change the Language dword according to your needs: 9 = english 7 = german 40c = french (not sure) Save the file as ghost.reg and doubleclick on it. You'll be asked if you want to add it to your registry. Confirm that and you'd be ready to play the game properly.

Hi !
After doubleclicking on the ghost.reg file and pressing "yes" to install it into the registry, there appears a message, that it can´t be installed because the ghost.reg file isn´t a registration file ?!?

Post your edited .reg so I can tell you.

Well I figured a little work around....kinda weird but....
I installed the demo, in a temp dir, then installed the my full game. I then combined them and used any neccesary full game files as overwrites on the demo. I also edited the demo's English text file and added all the relveant info from the full game's file
I then applied Darkshades reg patch just to be sure and....voila
strange but it works....I should also mention that the game installed and ran fine on my other cpu...so I guess it just had issues with my tower......anyways great game worth the whole $49.99 I dropped for it
Thanks for the suggestion Darkshade
