Im actully from the states but im in london for the summer and i wanted some happy distraction from class so i picked up GM and installed it on my Flat Mate's computer. It's a pretty good one 2.4 Ghz 512 ram... So i didnt think there would be any issues. Apparently any SiS card causes some major ones. Originally the game played with some major glitches in its graphics (*all the colors were neon pink and black) and i obviously didnt feel like playing this way. I looked at the faq and the 615 SiS card is there but not the 651 so i figured if i get the newst drivers it may work.... Well i got the newest drivers and loaded up the game and now it doesnt work at all.... All it is is a spralling mess of zebra lines everywhere. Bah! Anyone got some ideas?

Unfortunately, with an unsupported chipset... more than likely you need a different vid card, or hope for a patch BUT... and this is a pain in the butt.. might not even be worth the trouble... sometimes it actually pays to DOWNGRADE your drivers in a case like this. It's not super common, but it's been known to work at times.. you chase down old versions and uninstall the new ones and install the old ones... Real pain, but eh.. thought I'd toss it out there anyway. -Kitty
