In "deadfellows", start by going straight down to do the leak thing (there is a woman down there att the very start, if you hurry, you won't have to lure anyone there).
Also, use charm on the cook. He will feel lucky and go straight to the roulette table (freeing Knuckles, and you can easily lure him towards the piano as well).

Hey, Kitty! That's been a while! Lol. Yeah.. yeah it has. It's a loooong and sordid story, and not exactly "light reading". Kinda more one of those horribly over-dramatized thingies where they just chuck plot out the window and you put the book down going... WTF now?!? XD Seriously though.. circumstances beyond my control kept me offline for way too long. Back now though, and things are at least 'better' if not quite what I could call great just yet. Oh and uh.. lots of walkthrough stuff in first post. There.. now this isn't off topic. ;D

Gosh! That totally doesn't sound good! Hopefully things do look up from now on. Thanks for fixing the link.

Gosh! That totally doesn't sound good! Hopefully things do look up from now on. Thanks for fixing the link. Things are... well.. Better. Let's go with that. And my pleasure. Actually, the funny thing is, I have several updated versions of this thing on my hard drive that, due to crappy real life stuff, never got posted anywhere. It's one of those nagging little things I decided I'm actually and finally gonna finish though, so I'm currently combing back through it, revising it, and replaying the crap out of the game to refine things. I'm not sure if it will be done before I have to leave for holiday, but I'll either get it done and posted before then, or shortly after my return. No more disappearing acts for me. I thought about not making a post about this until I get it a little closer to ready, but I decided to do it now so I can ask the following: If anyone is still playing, or at least still reads this thread occasionally, take a peek at what I've got up now. The version I'm working on has a lot of changes, but there's still room for improvement. If you've got any solid strategies or tips, I'd really love to add them in (and give credit in the guide of course). Now, I'm not looking for every last "well you could do this like that" kind of thing, because there's TONS of possibilities, and this guide has gotten big enough over the years. What I want is anything that will significantly affect your time and / or score. Things that actually make you (or save you) some plasm. So anything on the levels I still can't 3 pumpkin (while freeing all ghosts) is great.. anything that can really jack up the faints, paranoia, etc (the big point stuff) while still keeping the times low is also good. Put them here, or send to my email. Thankee. ^-^ ...and yeah, I know. Kinda silly to bother this many years later, but it means a lot to me that I finish what I started. Better late than never.

Absolutely true. And: no rush. We'll see the new version whenever it's finished. Happy holiday!

First of all Hi and welcome back It's realy nice that you still want to finish the walkthrough. Some levels are realy hard to get good points on. I read through your guide and its realy nice and helpfull . I don't know if this will help you(however I hope so), but I got some small notes about things that I used to do: Haunting 101: I always used to wake up the woman, thats sleeping with a thunderslap at the start of the level(else she might just sleep for some time) Weird Seance: You can free Terroreyes with fascination. When someone unlucky is fascinated by terroreyes he/she will knock down the bottle and break it(Cogjammer can use Jinx or you can rely on Luckstorm). If you free Terroreyes that way you don't need to use aether. Ghastly or stonewall will fit better into the team in my opinion. Another realy good help on this level is to use weatherwitch and let her use rain outside. The mortals will run faster into the house again that way(this realy helped me geting a x5 on this level) Deadfellas: Like there is already wrote in this thread: All who are affected by charm will run to Eddie Venus(The guy who plays roulette) and will want to play with him. Same goes for the cook. Just take Lucky and cast luckstorm at the beginning of the level. Restart the level untill the cook is lucky and runs up to the roulette game. Imidiatly after the luckstorm use leak(Boo) at the bottom of the ship. If you are lucky there is still someone down there. If not cast rattle chains before leak. Then you gotta use rattle chains again when the cook is upstairs near the roulette. And my personal strategy to scare Don is a combination of: Moonscream, Buck and Wendel. He is afraid of Chase and since you can bind all 3 ghosts nearly everywhere his fearbar will fill in only a few minutes. Even if moonscream can't use chase her other powers help quite much scaring Don. In my opinion the scaring way is faster. I got the mission done with all ghosts freed in about 7 minutes that way. It was under 7:30 so I got 3 pumpkins. Spooky Hollow: Another realy handy way to free scarecrow is to have raindancer learned blood(I usually do that anyway since he is very good in much levels). Just get the storm going and the puddle beside scarecrow will grow. Now just get raindancer to use blood and he is free. In that way the storm helps you free 3 ghosts. In the end you walkthrough is realy dam good. Some of the ideas are just...... I can't find other words but great . Like that with freeing lucky with static. I never ever thought off anything like this. Edit: I know the big thing is still to beat the police station, the hospital and the military base with 3 pumpkins, but I hope that theese tips were usefull anyway .

Hi, and thanks Dark! Lots of those ideas are in the new version already, but every little bit helps. I can't believe how much the guide has changed over the years, and how much better I've gotten at most of the missions. Still a few that give me some trouble, but I'm not done refining things yet, so we'll see how it ends up. -Kitty

Hi once again I just broke FMJ .For the first time ever I got 3 pumpkins. My time was 13:40 and my score was 3377185. I was using my mod(that only replaces some ghosts with the unused ones, no other changes to the game), however I don't think that it made a big difference. My team was: Weatherwitch Stormtalon Firetail hogwash Jack (a new ghost in my mod he replaces buck, however I think if you have to decide who is better, its Buck) Azrael (another ghost in my mod, however there is no real difference between him and dragoon) Soulscreech (she replaces moonscream, there is no big difference. But I like soulscreech more ) Smokin Joe (He is from the mod too, But you could use any spectre instead in my opinion) In the original game the best would be(of course all with max abilities): Weatherwitch Stormtalon Firetail hogwash Buck Dragoon Moonscream Ghastly Here is the strategy I used: First I was building up plasm using Buck and Moonscream to get some basic scares. When there are enough people around an electric fetter use hogwash or firetail. In that way you should have about 240 plasm pretty fast. Now you set weatherwich to use Typhoon and Stormtalon to use rain. Now set either howash or Stormtalon to use blackout. People will run out and get scared by the storm. As soon as you feel comfy with your plasm get Ghastly to the lists(Hope this is the corect english word for the electric/Emotional/Violence fetter at the start of the level). Get him to scare all the people who will run there. Binding weatherwitch at the lists and then using siren song should be pretty good too. Firetail and hogwash should rotate between the Jeeps and the lists. Whereever there are most humans. At the beginning when there are much people inside use moonscream in the big hallway in the middle of the station. Pretty much people will see her. When you got the storm built up you shuld start to focus on individual targets. You can always move Buck Dragoon and Moonscream. The others fit pretty good at theyr place. You can use Firetail and hogwash to scare biggerr groups. With powers like great balls of fire, surge or terrorise try to always hit as many as possible. At the end I have to say this is only scheme about where the ghosts have to be placed. However Weatherwitch, Stormtalon and Smokin Joe(in the original game Ghastly) never got moved by me in my playthrough. Of course you should free Whisajack somewhere in the process. One last thing to mention is, that the mod don't makes that big a difference. I think using ghastly, Buck and dragoon is more effective then using Smokin Joe, Jack and Azrael. However Soulscreech could maybe be a little more effective then moonscream. I'm not realy sure. I think in the end It doesn't matter if you play with or witout mod. The end result is the same. Hope this helped you. I don't realy know how I suddenly got all those great ideas for FMJ but I feel pretty good about finally to have gotten the x5 score Hope this can still help you. So the only thing I realy miss are the 3x pumpkins while freeing all ghosts on: Summoners not included(shame on me I only played this level when I had to complete it. The bug that the students wouldnt finish the ritual got me way to often, so I hate this level. I feel like trying it anyway when I got all others ), Unusual Suspects(10:57 was my best. When I didn't had to free blue murder it would be much easier. Its hard to focus on not scaring the guilty detective, while scaring all others) and Phantom of The Operating Room(one word: Brigit!). I think I finally gonna try to get them. I can't rly say which one is harder Unusual suspects or PotOr.
