I'm sory to be pessimistic, but I'm afraid that all your hearts are going to be broken Empire would make a game with selling hundreds of thousands of copies in mind. 600-700 votes is insignificant. Ghost Master was flawed, and deserves a sequel, but it won't get it. I still signed though

Man i hate to disappoint but a ghost master sequel is impossible for the soul fact that the team that brought it to life (sick puppies) no longer exists, the reason for this is that the giant known as EA bought the studio empire interactive, and discarded most of its protfolio (including GM) and disbanded sick puppies as they were termed non profitable, effectually killing the great ghost master franchise before it could start, gotta love those f***ing corporate suits eh? I came across this a little while ago it was written by the head designer of gm1 onlyagame.typepad.com/only_a_game/2005/09/post_mortem_gho.html

Don't be too harsh on EA... When all is said and done, they're in the business of making money, and Ghost Master, while an extremely good idea and an inherently addicting game, has a lot of nasty flaws (Random puzzles, not enough levels, no editor, I'm sure we can think of some more). Basically, it got some nice reviews, didn't sell very well, and as such EA closed them down rather then waste more money.
Beyond that, I signed, but the next online petition that works will be the first one, far as I've seen.

Small correction: Ghost Master was distributed by Empire Interactive and not Electronic Arts (EA for short). Also, the petition is for solving just those problems you summed up! If Empire had let Sick Puppies release an editor in the first place (instead of shutting them down), we wouldn't have been complaining now!
