Dear fans of Ghost Master, Hopefully I have correctly identified you as 'Friends of the Haunter Committee'! If you're not a fan of Ghost Master, my apologies. If you are, can I trouble you to sign up for our recently created Newsletter? And share it with anyone else you know who is a fan of the game? I don't want to stoke your Plasm too much about potentially exciting news that connects to Ghost Master - but then, there is a reason why I'm asking you to join the newsletter... LINKHappy Halloween! Chris. PS: If you're at AdventureX this year, I'm speaking on Saturday - would be great to meet you/see you again/duel you with scimitars in the British Library!

Neat. Hope whatever they plan on announcing turns out to be good news. Ghost Master 2? GM Remake with bug fixes and all cut content restored? Even just a release of GM's source code and creation tools would be fantastic.

Good to hear that those guys are working on their own project, whatever it may be.

Oh cool! I'm new to the website and I've played the game when I was younger then again when I was older, but I only beat the final level last night. Such an amazing game. I was so happy when I saw there was still a community for it, or really a community at all, as I thought I was the last fan left.
I subscribed to the news letter but I didn't receive the news letter as an email? How does that work?

I guess maybe this is the best place to track the process of what is going on. It just seems like it would be nice to have a little overview on this forum. First of: You can actually find the entire list of mails from the newsletter here for some overview: tinyletter.com/ihobo/archiveIn the November 7th mail Chris wrote about Ghost Master: More specificly Chris' plan as outlined in the mail (which you can find in the archive) is to make a series of games that pay tribute to old classic games, among others 2 of his own games (i.e. games he worked on as a designer), Discworld Noir and Ghost Master. You can see his presentation at AdventureX here: vimeo.com/305929981In the presentation he doesn't talk so much about Ghost Master (he does a little I believe) but he talks quite a bit about the 80's classic Adventure/Strategy game Lords of Midnight and he also announced the game he and his company are working on (which pays tribute to Lords of Midnight), Silk. I guess if any of you want to support it (and by extension hopefully the long term plan of a Ghost Master sequel) the best thing you can do is to donate to the Kickstarter or also to apply as an alpha tester. Here is the recent email about it: tinyletter.com/ihobo/letters/coming-soon-silk-kickstarterNote: I do obviously not have any primary connection to this (just to make it clear to avoid confusion), I'm really just a fan of Ghost Master and Chris' work. I've also played through Discworld Noir 1 or 2 years back which was quite an interesting adventure. I also think Silk does look interesting.
