What done for now: -1 level for tests -Two original models imported into engine with recreated textures (models haven't original animation, but we created our) -HUD integrated (partially work) -Created script base for fetters and ghosts (When you select ghost in HUD and clicked at map, then spawn simple cube) -Created shader for smoothing textures
What to do: -improve and creating scripts -camera and movement -AI -gameplay -ghosts -mortals -abilities of ghosts And it's not full list what we must to do

-Two original models imported into engine with recreated textures (models haven't original animation, but we created our) When you say original models, do you mean models from the original Ghost Master? If so, how did you get to them? That's been a mystery to the rest of us for years. Anyway, sounds great! I would love to help, but I wouldn't be good for much other than programming (although I've never worked on a team project like this). As for who owns the rights: I don't know where he got this information, and I'm sure someone here probably knows better, but that's what someone said regarding the other Ghost Master 2 project.

Nisk, do you know programming?
What about otiginal models: We already ripped it by 3DVia Printscreen. Because we can't open it. *.bsp - it is simple archive. But what inside - I don't know, it hasn't extension.

Zoo Games owns the rights. However they have never done aynthing with them. You kind of have to decide. If you alter the game enough you might get around bying the rights. However you can't call it Ghost Master then. It might be that all in all altering makes more sense since the original Ghost Master wasn't extremly succesfull. However I don't know how much you would have to alter. It's important to find out what you want to do with the rights for the story. If you buy them you could make some kind of sequel and could reuse some ghosts. However I suggest implementing more story in the game. Make you feel like you work your way up, not just by getting more ghosts, but also by getting some kinds of bonuses. Here are some of my ideas that I previously posted on another thread: -Special bonus Missions that show the history behind some of the ghosts and show how they died(maybe you would have to kill them) -Make you able to buy more things for gold plasm(like special ghosts or abilities) and make challenges that grant you a big ammount of gold plasm if you complete them. A challenge could be like: Beat X level while only using 2 different ghosts, Beat a level in 6 minutes and 66 seconds (7:06). -Implement a random mission button that creates a random map with random people that you can play. (This could be easy or hard all depending on how you decide to code the game.) -Implement more interactions with the surroundings -check out this post it got many good ideas in it: ghostmaster.proboards.com/index.c....lay&thread=2758Another idea could be to implement some kind of perks, that you choose before starting the level. You could more perks as you get further in the game. Let's say you can have 10 perks. One with lvl 1, one with lvl 2 and so on. You unlock a new perk after 2 or 3 level. Each time you have the ability to choose between 2 or 3. However everytime you unlock a new perk it's only of a certain level. First time you pick one lvl 1. The next time you unlock you pick one lvl 2 and so on. Those perks could be things like: "+10 Start plasm" or "Powers cause slightly more belief" or maybe even something to activate like: "for 30 seconds your powers cost 5 plasm less". Or a weak global power like "weak wind" if you just need a little boost this could be nice. Might be I have read something similar to this idea somewhere. Maybe I'll get an interresting idea for a Youtube video to use as a Teaser for your project. If I have done anything I'll inform you before uploading of course.

dark273, Thank you for information and your ideas. And about story and rights. We have a contact with Chris Bateman, I hope that he'll help us.

Fixed link to the post dark273 mentioned. It really does have a lot of great ideas that should be implemented, so take a look at it when you have time. Also, are you planning on selling this when it's finished or giving it away for free? And yes, I do know programming. I pretty much taught myself, so I don't know if I use the best practices and whatnot, but I certainly understand how.

I'm a fulltime programmer. I don't have much time, but I can definitely help a little bit here and there if needed.

Hello. Another Ghost Master fan made me aware that this project was started. The pictures look great. About a year ago I got a group of people to build our own unofficial sequel to the game. We are working quite slowly at the moment because our team is so small. If you are interested you can view what we have at www.unofficialghostmaster2.weebly.com. Would you be interested in merging both our groups? We are building our game up from scratch as we don't have any rights to anything related to Ghost Master and are in desperate need of people skilled with Unreal or any other game engine. Please advise. You can find my e-mail from the Contact tab on our web page. Thanks! Christopher Sadlowski
