Yes, that's because the ghost is already in your pack, so the game assumes it's already "laid to rest", cutting directly to the stage after the ghost was laid to rest. That way you can miss some things...

Yeah, it kinda does, that's why I never really used it. Still, great mod for people who are a bit tired of the game and want to try something new.

Just some info for things that you guys may have overlooked....
1.) When you download the saves, make sure you unzip them into C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Ghost Master. Don't put it into SaveGames when you unzip, because the zip file itself contains a \SaveGames directory, and if you put it into SaveGames it'll end up being C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Ghost Master\SaveGames\SaveGames and it won't recognize the files as being there. If you do save it wrong, just move the files out to the regular SaveGames folder and delete the extra one after you move them.
2.) The file you want to load is under the "Test" name. There are 4 different names (Valgus, Test, A, Default), but only the saves under Test will allow you to use any ghost in any level as far as I've seen.
3.) It seems that you have to replay through the game. You can't just use the High Scares thing to go back to any level, for some reason the saves don't include data that the games themselves are beaten.
4.) It seems that the Epitaphs of the ghosts are all screwed up in the Ghoul Room. I don't know if it has any real effect, but its there.
