I'd be skeptical that when playing this game it'd be possible to complete some of these missions with three pumpkins and obtain all ghosts. Particularly the ones with a relatively short time limit. The spirits you need human intervention of some to free must almost always pose the problem. Deadfellas in particular, having three that require some intervention, yet only seven and a half minutes. Brigit, Harriet and Blue Murder should be problematic in this regard too. Not so bad with Rain Dancer, Sparkle and Blair Wisp not so problematic as the times set are based on the missions requiring overall objects which aren't all out and out scaring.

So far, I can free all ghosts and get a 5x rating on everything but 4 of them. Deadfellas, Phantom of the Operating Room, Unusual Suspects, and Full Mortal Jacket. Of those, FMJ has nothing to do with freeing the ghosts, Just haven't QUITE got the 5x yet.. but I will eventually. Deadfellas I've managed 3/4 with a 5x.. and was pissed because at the end I had 2 minutes left and probably COULD have gotten the last one.. So I SHOULD be able to pull that one off too. The ones I'm dubious about are gonna be Blue Murder and Bridget. But we shall see -Kitty

No, I didn't get all the ghosts in all hauntings when I got the x5. I guess that's what I'd try next, but Deadfellas and Phantom may be tough... Although using Wild Geese for Brigit's LTR is really helpful!

Use a few good ghosts inside to chase people out of the building and a lot of ghosts outside to welcome them. Be sure one of the "outsiders" is the Dragoon (when he gets fired up... ;D ).

The Dragoon ends up shooting off to some corner of the map where I don't need him or want him whenever I try and use him. So I gave up using him on that level.

He made a total pandemonium when I used him. Anyway, if you don't like him to roam select "Don't Roam" in the Orders Menu.

Morto: "Wish I could design a Buck like ghost with free powerselections and some more speed."M
If you could pick your own powers for the ghosts, I reckon it would have been really hard to design the game. Maybe for the next one they can put in a few 'blank ghosts' that you can train more freely...
As for more speed - what do you mean by that? Uses his powers quicker? The more you use a ghost, the quicker they respond to thing, but Buck is pretty good to begin with.
